My friend did some research as part of his study into attitudes towards how older women view young male nudity recently, and the results were quite surprising!
 
Admittedly, the methods he used were slightly unethical, as he masqueraded as someone else, but he felt he had to in order to gain truthful responses from the young women he was talking to.
 
Basically he responded to adverts from young women seeking jobs as nannies, pretending to be a single mother with a wayward but completely healthy teenage son. He set the age of the teenage son from between 12 yrs old and 15 yrs old, depending on the nanny he was talking to.
 
The young women were mostly Western and Eastern European, along with some Turkish, and aged from between 21-30.  
He told me he chatted with them on msn/skype, seeing them on webcam to check they were indeed female. For the most part, I was told, these were physically attractive women.
 
He enquired as to how they would feel about bathing and disciplining a normal, healthy but badly-behaved boy of 12-15 in their care. I was quite surprised when he told me that most of the nannies had no problem with observing the boy undressing completely, and supervising him washing himself in the bath while they sat in the bathroom reading a book.  
 
In one case a 23 yr old French lady said that if a 13 yr old boy did not want to be nude for his bath this was unacceptable and she would remove his clothes herself if need be. Another 2 Turkish ladies said they would be quite happy physically washing a 12 yr old boy themselves.  
 
Many of the ladies also agreed to inspecting the boy from head to toe after baths, although in some cases this took some persuasion.  
 
Many of the women in question were also comfortable with spanking a boy of 12-13 yrs old bare bottomed although they almost all said this would be a last resort.
 
This is true, i'm not making this up! I saw some of the msn/skype transcripts that my friend had of the conversations with the nannies and I was really shocked at how trivial the nudity of boys seemed to be to them.  
 
I can't imagine being forced to be naked in front of a nanny at that age, but apparently for quite a few young women working as nannies this is totally acceptable.

You would be surprised how many women are into young teenage boys. I have already given an example of this on the thread below from a man who worked in a South African court where canings of bared teenage boys were an almost everyday occurrance in which he describes how several female court employees, mostly around 20, would go and watch these canings and baring of boys. He said that these young women made no secret of enjoying the sight of the bared boys waiting for the caning and while they were being caned, even rubbing themselves while watching all this.
I know of other instances where women would find an excuse to bathe or spank a young teenage boy, but that would be in another post.

I too am surprised! Developing security with a girl a decade, to a decade and a half older than you is fine, so long as the boy is comfortable with the situation! Had these prospective Nannys ever considered the possibility that a boy between 12-15 may well resist being seen nude in the bathtub, and that he would , at those ages, be old enough to bathe himself?
Maybe it is their European background, but I doubt unwilling boys in this age range would submit to forced nudity, and certainly not spankings!  
Easter-man-10, what is your take on this?

If you want some insight into the historic nannies I suggest you read the book, which came out in the 70's I think, called "The Nanny". I don't know if it is available on the Internet.
It is a non-fiction, detailed and researched book about nannies, which were very common and in demand during the last century and during the Victorian era. Some excerpts are very revealing about how these nannies dealt with the boys.
Lord Byron recounts how as a 12 year old boy his nanny used to bathe him and after the bath would put her tongue in his butt crack to see if he was bathed properly. He was also frequently spanked by her. Most of these nannies were also strict disciplinarians, which was expected in those days as a good way of bringing up boys.  
I also remember a section in the book about German nannies who used to masturbate boys before going to sleep to make them sleep better. It is a very interesting book and was very popular when it came out in England.

These stories remind me of some that I heard when I was living in Asia. As you read them keep in mind that Malaysia and Singapore were both colonized by the Brits and although they are now independent still cherish many of the customs and practices they learned from them.
 
A senior manager of an important company in Malaysia who I got to know quite well told me that when he was growing up he had a nanny at home who washed him and caned him when he was bad. When he went to school in his early teens, a boarding school, matrons used to perform the same functions including caning the boys. He himself employed a nanny at home, in fact two of them, for his boys and they did the same things -- washed and spanked or caned them, among other duties. He thought this practice was necessary for proper upbringing but was best done not by the father or mother.
 
A Singaporean man I knew told me that he had been raised largely by a Chinese nanny who regularly spanked him, and did so well into his teens. He told me this in defense of the Singaporean practice of caning male teen offenders for things like vandalism and other minor crimes. His view was that it worked -- spanking that is -- and when he had kids he would have whomever he hired to help raise them do the same.
 
A Singaporean woman who was in middle management of an insurance company arrived late to a meeting and apologized saying she had had to spank her teenage son because it was the nanny's day off. Another woman, also Singaporean, in the meeting, commiserated with her (mainly for the need to give the nanny a day off).
 
I overheard a conversation between a mother and her son, about age 10 or 11, as they walked from the parking lot to their apartment building with his sister, who was grinning from ear to ear. The mother was chastising her son for some sort of misbehavior and telling him that as soon as they got home she and the nonya (a female Malaysian woman, often a household helper) were going to spank him "until he cried for teasing his sister".
 
The secretary of one of our office managers in Singapore, a young Chinese woman of about 25 who was very slight of build, told me quite casually one day that when she had worked as a nanny she had to use a cane on the boys she cared for because she was too small to spank them.
 
All true stories!
