If you want some insight into the historic nannies I suggest you read the book, which came out in the 70's I think, called "The Nanny". I don't know if it is available on the Internet.
It is a non-fiction, detailed and researched book about nannies, which were very common and in demand during the last century and during the Victorian era. Some excerpts are very revealing about how these nannies dealt with the boys.
Lord Byron recounts how as a 12 year old boy his nanny used to bathe him and after the bath would put her tongue in his butt crack to see if he was bathed properly. He was also frequently spanked by her. Most of these nannies were also strict disciplinarians, which was expected in those days as a good way of bringing up boys.  
I also remember a section in the book about German nannies who used to masturbate boys before going to sleep to make them sleep better. It is a very interesting book and was very popular when it came out in England.

These stories remind me of some that I heard when I was living in Asia. As you read them keep in mind that Malaysia and Singapore were both colonized by the Brits and although they are now independent still cherish many of the customs and practices they learned from them.
 
A senior manager of an important company in Malaysia who I got to know quite well told me that when he was growing up he had a nanny at home who washed him and caned him when he was bad. When he went to school in his early teens, a boarding school, matrons used to perform the same functions including caning the boys. He himself employed a nanny at home, in fact two of them, for his boys and they did the same things -- washed and spanked or caned them, among other duties. He thought this practice was necessary for proper upbringing but was best done not by the father or mother.
 
A Singaporean man I knew told me that he had been raised largely by a Chinese nanny who regularly spanked him, and did so well into his teens. He told me this in defense of the Singaporean practice of caning male teen offenders for things like vandalism and other minor crimes. His view was that it worked -- spanking that is -- and when he had kids he would have whomever he hired to help raise them do the same.
 
A Singaporean woman who was in middle management of an insurance company arrived late to a meeting and apologized saying she had had to spank her teenage son because it was the nanny's day off. Another woman, also Singaporean, in the meeting, commiserated with her (mainly for the need to give the nanny a day off).
 
I overheard a conversation between a mother and her son, about age 10 or 11, as they walked from the parking lot to their apartment building with his sister, who was grinning from ear to ear. The mother was chastising her son for some sort of misbehavior and telling him that as soon as they got home she and the nonya (a female Malaysian woman, often a household helper) were going to spank him "until he cried for teasing his sister".
 
The secretary of one of our office managers in Singapore, a young Chinese woman of about 25 who was very slight of build, told me quite casually one day that when she had worked as a nanny she had to use a cane on the boys she cared for because she was too small to spank them.
 
All true stories!

I must be missing something here.  A man wants to hire a nanny and asks her if she would mind supervising a male 12 - 15 taking a bath.  Obviously if they want the job there are going to say what they think he wants to hear.  Furthermore, why should they object?  Admitedly the boys are a little old but it is hardly unusual for a nanny to give a boy his bath!  Isn't this matter off topic?

to answer to "youngreen" who have asked me what I think of that?:
 
I don't believe that nannies in France can be hired by parents to do some things as to spank a boy over 12 age and still less to bath him or to check his cleanliness with so less respect of his modesty (I cannot have the same statement or opinion about other european countries where I am not leaving but I doubt that it can be different )
 
For me it is not serious.
 
But as youngreen said, it is  logical also that girls or young women who want the job are going to say what they think that men who are supposed to hire them want to hear if they are questioned about their job but it is like a joke today.
 
For them, what is important is to obtain the job, if it is necessary to say "yes, I will spank a boy or yes I will supervise his bath", they say  
it is not  a big deal for them to bath a boy of over 12 age if it is what his parents want !
 
It is not to her to mind about the disdain of the modesty of the boy, it is the parents who decide what to do.  
 
Nevertheless I am sure that in France it must be difficult to find boys of that age who would submit to forced nudity in such situations.
 
In the past may be but now the boys are really much less obedient.
 
As regards boarding schools, I presume that in the past, if there was some nannies  to take care of boys, they could have been instructed to spank them or to cane them bare ass if necessary or to supervise their baths, but even in the past, it seems to me that it was more the job of men because most of the rules of boarding schools for boys were inspired by military rules such as lining up naked or semi-naked in a group  in the corridor to go the shower room, taking a shower with a water which was cold or at least not enough warm without moving back ( it was one of the main reason for which boys were supervised during their gang showers), running in the yard undressed only in briefs even if it rains when punished , having  group physicals without any privacy,  lining up closely and like standing  at attention  when required and so on ...
 It was an other time whre boys and teenagers had no rights
 
As regards the south asian countries, I have already read posts relating such situations, so it must be true even if I cannot be sure, people in these countries  had not the same ways of life, the same way of thinking, the same interest for the feeling of modesty of male teenagers,  
 may be the nakednes of pre-teens or teenagers is considered as normal in these countries.
 
Anyway, I think also that sometimes, even in our countries,  for a boy between 12 and 16 age, a good caning would be a better way to punish him if he deserves a punishment because he is too much rebellious or is making always troubles  than any other punishment which are not lenough effective.
think about it .. but it is not admitted by our society today.
